Dr. Rollman's research focuses on interventions to improve the quality of care for patients with depression and anxiety who are care for in non-psychiatric settings. Highly pertinent to the Hopeful Heart Trial, Dr. Rollman was also Principal Investigator for the Bypassing the Blues Trial that demonstrated the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a nurse-led and telephone-delivered collaborative care strategy for treating depression after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
